The Main House
In the Main House there are three comfortable lounges and two beautifully appointed dining rooms. From the picture window in the drawing room there is the ever-changing scene across the lake to the Martindale fells with the Helvellyn range in the distance.
There are eight bedrooms in the Main House. Those at the front of the house have spectacular lake views. As the Main House is the original country house and not purpose built accommodation, the rooms range in size from extravagant to modest but all are strikingly individual. For those not keen to venture out after a wonderful Sharrow Bay dinner the Main House is the preferred accommodation.
