Bank House, Wedding venue of the year in 2006, is situated just over a mile from the Main House. Sharrow Bay's 'Jewel in the Crown' is elevated on the fell side with magnificent views over Lake Ullswater and the surrounding fells, Bank House is a stunningly beautiful venue that offers complete exclusivity. There are no interruptions or distractions, just you and your special day.
Bank House can accommodate wedding groups of up to 28 people. Within the house there are five double bedrooms with panoramic views over Lake Ullswater, ideal for your immediate wedding party. Additional accommodation is available in our Edwardian Lodge, Garden Room and Main House and we can of course arrange transportation between the two houses if required.
If you are looking for a larger wedding then exclusive use of Sharrow Bay is an ideal option. The hotel can cater for up to 60 guests allowing you to dine in front of one of the most beautifully stunning views in the country. The hotel has 24 rooms across all areas which can accommodate 46 guests.
